Application Support Engineer - SaaS, AWS
Are you a customer facing Application Support Engineer who enjoys working with people of all backgrounds?
Have you supported users of a bespoke product, ideally SaaS, or product on the Cloud?
Can you put technical issues into concise technical reports for developers to solve?
We’re keen to speak to anyone who is technically curious, wants to solve problems and can easily communicate on a technical level.
As Application Support Engineer, you’ll be providing support of our workforce tasking solution to end users from a variety of backgrounds.
The Application Support Engineer will need to confidently speak to end users to understand issues and get the root of them. As well as figuring out what an issue is, you will need to put this into concise technical reports for the development team. You’ll be involved in creating, reviewing, testing and confirming configurations for new deployments.
Ideally the Application Support Engineer will have worked with end users, supporting them in the use of an application or product. Working closely with end users to scope out what features may be required for further releases. To be a problem solver, understand issues and be able to relay this information to a technical team.
If you are a people person with a drive to deliver dependable and impactful software systems and a proven ability to be concise about technical issues, we can provide training on all of the below:
- Git or similar distributed source control system
- Docker Containers
- Knowledge of Kubernetes or other cloud native computing foundation projects
- Cloud experience (we work with AWS)
- Both relational and non-relational databases
- Monitoring production systems
